Ventrikul\u00e4re Extrasystolen (VES) treten sehr h\u00e4ufig auf und k\u00f6nnen bei Patienten mit oder ohne zugrunde liegende Herzerkrankung vorgefunden werden. Die Pr\u00e4valenz steigt mit zunehmender Monitoringdauer und wird mit 1\u20134 % im EKG, 40 % im 24-Stunden-LZ-EKG und 75 % im 48-Stunden-LZ-EKG beschrieben. Die Inzidenz steigt mit zunehmendem Alter, steigender K\u00f6rpergr\u00f6\u00dfe, h\u00f6herem Blutdruck, geringerer k\u00f6rperlicher Aktivit\u00e4t und Nikotinabusus.
